Every year, WNMU Athletics hosts this special event to raise awareness for breast cancer research ,  show our solidarity in the fight against breast cancer and honor the incredible survivors and fighters within our community. All proceeds go to the Gila Regional Cancer Center. 

Join the WNMU Mustangs on Tuesday, January 20, as we trade our purple and gold for PINK in our annual Pink Out game! Calling on all students, faculty, and the Silver City community to fill the stands at Drag’s Court.

Whether you’re cheering for a three-pointer or standing for a survivor tribute, your presence makes an impact.

General admission for the games is $10 for adults (free with a Mustang ID) and 500 fans will receive a free WNMU pink-out shirt.

Game Day Schedule – Tuesday, January 20, 2026: 

• 5:00 PM MT: Women’s Basketball vs. Sul Ross State

• 7:00 PM MT: Men’s Basketball vs. Sul Ross State

How to Participate

• Wear Pink: We want to see a sea of pink in the student section and the stands!

• Arrive Early: Be there for the starting lineups and special halftime recognitions.

• Admission: Tickets are available at the door or online at  WNMU Students, Faculty, and Staff are admitted free with a valid university ID.
